The Great Pumpkin

We all saw the pictures of Monkey picking her pumpkin and giving it love!  We yesterday we craved it!  She really didn't like the feeling of slime from the inside at first, but got used to it once I gave her a towel!  So we craved it, and she ended up laying on me while I was carving the Welcome....so the Welcome ended up be WOL....I gave up after the E became an O/L!

Finally......a new post!

Yes I new post!  Its been a while, but when life goes into overdrive sometimes you have to put some things on the back burner in order to stay afloat!  This weekend was super busy for Monkey.  We visited grandpa Darrell in the hospital, signed his peg leg, went to Chucke Cheese for the first time, played outside and helped dad with switching tables.

First we rode our trike..... well sort of!
So....................is it possible that Monkey will be the next great quarterback?  Well if you get past the girl thing......she does have good form!
Or how about the next great receiver.....
Wow......we were a BIG help putting the table back together in the kitchen!  Although these chairs are a bit heavier than our old ones so Monkey can't quite get them  to the sink!

Like Mother Like Daughter!

Today we took Monkey and Skinny and Minny to a pumpkin patch.  We went down slides, rode on pedal gokarts, petted goats and a donkey, walked a corn maze and rode a wagon to pick our own pumpkins.
When I was a little girl we didn't have a big pumpkin patch to go to, we used to go to Stitts, it was just up the road about 15 miles (dad would always be going by there when we called him to see where he was)  to get our pumpkins and Christmas trees if we got a real one.  When I was about 3 or 4 years old a photographer from a local newspaper took a photo of me on top of a GIANT pumpkin and I was in the paper.  So when I was taking photos of Monkey today this one made me think of that picture, of course its not a giant pumpkin, but Monkey didn't care, she loved the pumpkins so much she kissed and hugged them about 30 times!
