Yummy...helping mommy????

A few weeks ago Dennis had to work early on a Sunday morning, so Monkey and I decided we needed to make him a yummy breakfast.  Well she was ALOT of help.............eating the filling for the caramel rolls!  I had to take pictures!!!!

A long weekend at the Dells!

So we left Cresco about 1:30 on Friday and off to the Wisconsin Dells we went!  We stayed at the Chula Vista Resort- great rooms, ok waterpark, but Monkey loved it!  This morning she asked if we were going to the water!  12+ hours of "swimming" was alot for mommy and daddy, but great for Monkey, who mind you slept all the way home and slept in until 9 this morning, good thing is was a 4 day weekend.

Wishing there was snow.....

Well not really I want it to be warm so Monkey can play outside.  I just had my video camera out and realized I hadn't downloaded video from the first time Monkey rode her snowmobile this year.  Daddy got quite the workout!

I am going to be a great big sister!

So last weekend Monkey "practiced" being a big sister.  She gave rides to her Hawkeye teddy bear on her fourwheeler.  Than she added Kirscha to the mix, one on front one on back!  Hawkeye teddy even took a little spill and had to be comforted!  Shhhhh.......shhhhhhh.....shhhhhhhhh with a little bounce, just like mommy.

So both grandmas were getting a bit upset that no new good photos of Monkey have been taken.  So Saturday we got dressed in our Hawkeye dress and blowdried our hair and took some photos.  Next weekend we will take more!!

Reading in my room

Well, its really not her room it the nursey now, but she still claims it!  Sunday morning I walked down the hallway to see what Dennis was doing and I spied Monkey just a reading away in her rocking chair!  So I caught some shots without her knowing!  She loves books, to read them, to have them read to her!  She just loves them!

FOG DAY!

The phone rings.......2 hour late start........oh good and nice slow morning for Monkey and myself, get to eat waffles and take a long shower!  Monkey had other plans she wanted to wash dishes, and she did a great job, no water but in the sink, well and on herself!
